Very friendly staff and teachers. My daughter lerns a lote here and she really likes it, even though it is sometimes a lot to learn.

This school caused me trauma, and I wish I never had to experience the tortures I experienced at International Academy. If you want your kids to feel trapped in a prison, then this is the school for you.There is no opportunity here, just endless studying and homework for 4 years. The competitive nature of this school will almost never guarantee you a spot in a quality college; considering how most people at IA are well rounded, and you would need to be in the top 1%. Everyone at this school mostly follows the same schedule, so people that want to shine don't get a chance to. There are no athletics offered here, so any athletes out there will have to face an obstacle. For the second-rate education they offer here, and the stress load that comes with it; its just not worth the hassle. Also when there is bad education, it always comes with the price of crappy teachers. Did I mention that the environment here is also terrible, as it feels like you are revisiting an elementary school with no diversity in their student body. If you want to secure your child's future at a good college, then go to a high school like Troy High; which offers quality education, a healthy environment, as well as more possibility for the student. For the expense of minimal stress, a smaller workload, and convenience. The only instance where I can see someone wanting to go to a school like the IA is if its their only option for
a "decent" high school, but that is a different story. Good luck, and I hope you realize you mistake you are making in choosing to go to IA.
